Fiorgems provides lifetime authentication with unique Private Keys. Fiorgems is a global marketplace for all sellers and buyers of gemstones to deal directly with each other to achieve the lowest possible prices on most occasions.
Sellers put a “classified” advertisement of the gem item and negotiates directly on the price with buyers.
A buyer can always resell the gem item by reposting another “classified” advertisement with a new price.
All items and transactions are enabled with blockchain technologies, that secures your gem ownership.

Each Private Key is a unique Code and tied to a specific Gemstone. It authenticates the owner identity, its origins and gemologist certification. Private Keys utilises latest blockchain and encryption technologies, and the data is stored on distributed ledgers on the cloud. All information are anonymously stored and accessible only by person with the Private Key.
Any current owner (Transferor) of a gemstone can transfer a stone in 2 Steps to a new Owner (Transferee) - Firstly, the Transferor authenticates the Private Key and provide with the new Transferee’s email (fiorgems.com login). Second, the Transferee must be signed in on fiorgems.com and “accepts” the gemstone. A new Private Key will now be generated for the Transferee.
One-time administrative fee of USD 5 for each gemstone will be charged at the point of sale.
There are no costs in subsequent sale or transfer of ownership

Quality Assurance is provided with a Certification from Blue Diamonds Jewellery Worldwide Plc, the only listed jewellery company on the Colombo StockExchange (since 1992). Gemologist reports can be provided on request.
Security & Fraud Prevention is enhanced through the latest block-chain technologies that are implemented on individual transactions.
A registered merchant recommends buyers to the marketplace and earns commission directly from Suppliers upon any sales. Typical merchants are hotel owners, restaurant operators and tourism operators. Merchants can be assured that gemstones transacted on the platform will enjoy robust authentication and security.
